Just this is insane, i work for ic system everything that happens there is done by the law right done to taking certain tests to become an employee, i mean think about it all you who posted who work at mcdonalds or someother fast food chain how many times have u *** up my order but u dont see me online trying to get a webpage started so i can complain about mcdonalds i mean there is nothing u can do be polite on the phone sometime i bet u get treated better also believe me, also try paying you debt instead of sitting at home conting how many times ic system calls i know that sounds insane plus i guarantee there is managment i have a better idea how about all you who dont have a job who post on this page go and apply to work at a collection agency and see how u look at people who dont have a job and sit at home and complain about paying money they owe to a stupid website GET OFF YOUR *** AND GET A JOB

and mr. i know everything about collections, collections are not the *** reason the economy is *** its cause people take money spend it and than dont pay it back it is because people have outstanding debts, no one is *** perfect and u can nip and pick at everything now but what is complaining on this site going to do, ic system has been around since the 1930s the 2nd biggest 3rd party collections in the nation. I am pretty sure if they were breaking the law it would not have lasted this long and would not be growing and growing and growing, now i am not saying i love my job but its fine it works and dealing with dicks like your poor *** is quite fun i have to say, i get yelled at alot cause people like you DONT LISTEN!!! its funny u say this is a wrong number and hang up???? of course they r going to call u back dumb *** try being nice again watch what *** happens, really try it i dare you i am not saying the company is perfect BUT WHAT *** COMPANY IS??? everyone *** bends the law and takes what they can and runs with it, but that is how this country works how about this i am just throwing it out there u say we hide behind telephones???? well here is the thing u would rather have us go door to door trying to collect debts? we would be no better than *** kirby vacuum salesmen, go after them they break the law going around offering free *** and all they do is get into your house and high pressure sales u, all a collection agency does is try to get money back either they r owed or that there clients, what is wrong with that??? getting back money u lent someone, if they *** up and called u let it go, go *** off in your bathroom sink and *** relax

these *** call me always at 8 am right when the *** FDCPA says so. i get tired of the calls they dont listen i supposly had an acct with them and i send the proof od id theft they still went on its my acct wether or i had services used for a bank acct and they blamed stating i should be giving away my personal info i told them i was going to pay something and they said clients never accept the money thats bull a client always want their money even if it means collections dont getr money im a debt collector myself but i dont uphold the law like these guys do they dont let u talk and even listen at least i listen to the consumer

Thank you for the good advice on to deal with these idiots. I am filing with the FTC, my state's Attorney's Office and the FDCPA. Mr Brown, probably not his real name, just threatened me with a law suit if I pay the whole balance ($4K) immediately. Then he said he "didn't give a crap about me" and I better get an attorney. What is wrong with these people?

No harassment. Debt collectors may not harass, oppress or abuse you or any third party they contact. They cannot:
- Threaten violence or harm.
- Use obscene or profane language.
- Repeatedly use the telephone to annoy someone.
- Lie.
- Use any false or misleading statements when collecting a debt.
- Falsely imply that they are attorneys or government representatives.
- Falsely imply that you have committed a crime.
- Falsely represent they operate or work for a credit bureau.
- Misrepresent the amount of your debt.
- Give false credit information about you to anyone, including a credit bureau.
- Send you anything that looks like an official document from a court or government agency when it is not.
- Use a false name.
